Greising presented a poster titled, “In Sequence Anti-fibrotic Treatment And Rehabilitation For Volumetric Muscle Loss Injury.”

The study is titled, “Development of a proteomic signature associated with severe disease for patients with COVID-19 using data from 5 multicenter, randomized, controlled, and prospective studies.”

Shefali Bijwadia, a second year medical student and researcher in the Skeletal Muscle Plasticity and Regeneration Laboratory (SMPRL), led by Sarah Greising, PhD, associate professor in the School of Kinesiology, publishes at article in Physiological Reports titled "Exploring skeletal muscle tolerance and whole-body metabolic effects of FDA-approved drugs in a volumetric muscle loss model."

Dan Hoffman, MS, a PhD candidate in Kinesiology and member of the Skeletal Muscle Plasticity and Regeneration Laboratory (SMPRL), led by Sarah Greising, PhD, associate professor in the School of Kinesiology, published an article in Journal of Orthopaedic Research titled “Tibial bone strength is negatively affected by volumetric muscle loss injury to the adjacent muscle in male mice.”

Dan Hoffman, MS, a PhD candidate in Kinesiology and member of the Skeletal Muscle Plasticity and Regeneration Laboratory (SMPRL), led by Sarah Greising, PhD, associate professor in the School of Kinesiology, published an article in Experimental Neurology titled “Response of terminal Schwann cells following volumetric muscle loss injury."

Christiana Raymond-Pope, PhD, researcher in the Skeletal Muscle Plasticity and Regeneration Laboratory (SMPRL), led by Sarah Greising, PhD, associate professor in the School of Kinesiology, published an article, “Medial gastrocnemius muscle properties of children with cerebral palsy after different tone treatments – a pilot study,” in the American Journal of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.

Sarah M. Greising, PhD, associate professor in the School of Kinesiology and director of the Skeletal Muscle Plasticity and Regeneration Laboratory (SMPRL), contributed to a manuscript published in the Journal of Neurophysiology entitled, “Electrophysiological Effects of BDNF and TrkB Signaling at Type-Identified Diaphragm Neuromuscular Junctions.”

Shefali Bijwadia, a second year medical student and researcher in the Skeletal Muscle Plasticity and Regeneration Laboratory (SMPRL), led by Sarah Greising, PhD, associate professor in the School of Kinesiology, attended and presented research at the Orthopaedic Research Society Annual Meeting.
